It's been a while.

Bonjour all. Apologies for the lack of woollen goodies recently. I haven't stopped knitting and crocheting but I haven't been doing as much. However I have a couple of pics to share.

The first is my newly packaged Barbie outfits my sister sells for me in her new Fleetwood shop, "Mary, Tom and Friends". The second was a batch of crocheted poppies I also made for my sister.

I promise to furnish you with more frequent posts from now on but if I don't post again this week, Happy Christmas all.

A post to encourage a milestone!

So, I haven't posted anything in a while and, to be honest, I haven't got much to report. I made some Barbie clothes that I gave to my sister to sell on her Fleetwood Market stall, "Mary, Tom and Friends" and finally she sold a dress. Plus she got an order for another dress in a colour I hadn't used so that is my project for today once I have finished this.

So the milestone I speak of is I noticed I have had 998 views of this blog so thought I would try to persuade, trick if you will, you lovely people to reading this and tipping me over the 1000 views mark. I apologise for the devious tactics and will try to post something far more interesting in due course.

When will I see you again?....well now actually.

So, my friends, it has been a while. I don't know if anyone has any interest in this blog anymore. I know I haven't shown much interest recently. However, I have been crocheting like a demon recently so thought I would share some pics with you of recent projects. The first thing I have been concentrating on are clothes for Barbie's. My nieces are Barbie mad so the clothes I crochet make great prezzies for them. I sent my eldest niece the following pic and she immediately put in requests for different colours. That means Christmas is sorted!

I am now working on a longer version of this dress in blue as my niece thought it would look like Elsa's dress in Frozen.

The second pic is of 3 (unfinished) poppies I crocheted for my sister who runs a market stall in Fleetwood Market (called Mary,Tom and Friends). She and I (although I only made about 35), made them to sell and the profits went to the Poppy Appeal. In the end Katie (for that is my sister's name) raised £811.20. Not bad. Needless to say we have started making poppies for next year.

So there we go. I will post again when I have finished Elsa's dress (that looks nothing like Elsa's dress).
